HIGHLIGHT: Beautiful, chill-out fish game KOI now on Steam
Ok, it's a fish game, but it's also a decent chill-out (and 'wholesome') game experience, out now on Steam. A magical soundtrack will lure you along as you steer your koi on a vital mission to explore and restore the ecosystem of a lotus pond.
This award-winning game will remind you of the classic 'Flower' or 'Journey' games. More negative environmental news getting you down? Well, your mission here as a lone ranging fish is to help purify the polluted waters of mankind.
"It’s up to you to turn the tide and guide the koi through eight artfully rendered stages that will take you into the murky as well as enchanting waters, deep below the surface." It's a welcome respite from more attention-intensive game-play, and is only about an hour's worth of 'immersion'.
Check it out now on Steam, as it makes our month's indie game highlight here at Gaming Impact.
Some of the stages get a little busier but overall it's an ideal way to balance the mind and senses by revealing the mysteries of the pond, and restoring your sense of zen-like satisfaction or well-being! It's good to see games that manage to distil the beneficial properties of gaming as a whole.
You'll be hooked ;)
